hi everyone, my name is firda

now I will discuss the explanation text.

let's see the discussion below !!

An explanation text tells your audience how something works or why something happens.

Explanations detail and logically describe the stages in a process, such as the water cycle, or how a steam engine works.  Other examples could be how a law is made, or why we blink when we sneeze.

There are three types of explanations.

  • Sequential – These detail the stages in an event eg: how a caterpillar turns into a moth.
  • Causal - Details what causes the change from one stage to the next ie: How a president is elected.
  • Theoretical - Details the possible phenomena behind a natural or created process that is not fully understood. eg What caused the Nazi's to lose World War II.
  • Factorial and consequential explanations explain effects and outcomes of processes. They are more commonly used in upper primary and secondary

And here is an example of explanation text

Global Warming

As we know now, global warming which is happening right now has a very big impact on natural conditions, animals and humans. Well, do you know how global warming which has a particularly serious impact on life happens? To know the process of how this phenomenon occurs, see the following explanation.

The process starts when sunlight shines the earth where most of the heat is absorbed by the earth and a half of it is reflected back onto the air (atmosphere). Sunshine returning to the air is trapped by gases in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane, water vapor, and so on. This event is known as the greenhouse effect.

Solar radiation on the earth's atmosphere makes ozone layer get thinner and makes the sunlight which shines the Earth become hotter. The greenhouse effect also causes the sunlight which is reflected back onto space is reflected back into the earth. This phenomenon causes the earth continuously getting hotter. This condition is known as global warming.

That's all from me, thanks, bye :)

Conventionally, stodents need books, pens, erasers, picture books, rulers and other items in the multimedia era, students need more to be Successful in their studies They need a laptop connected to the Internet to enlarge their knowledge. Of course, it will cont more but its usage will be worth it.

First of all, modern schools tend to apply rapid transfer of knowledge because schools need to grasp the curriculum goals. As a result, students need extra media to cover the subject. Having a laptop on every student's desk will help the students to gain a better understanding.

 HELLO,

MY NAME IS FIRDA, HERE I WILL DO A TASK ABOUT PROCEDURE TEXT!

by the way, i will explain about procedure text

Procedure text is a text that explains or helps us how to make or use something. Its social function is to describe how something is completely done through a sequence of series. Communicative purpose of this text is to describe how something is made through a sequence of actions or steps

and procedure text also has a purpose, that is:

  •  – To explain/tell (the reader) how to make/operate/do something through a sequence of actions or steps.
  •    – To explain steps/instruction to make/operate/do something

and now i will make an example

PROCEDURE TEXT : HOW TO D
  How to Plant Flowers

Step 1: Right Place, Right Plant

\Do the plants you've picked out like sun, shade, or a combination of both? Start by arranging your plants so they're in a spot where they'll get the kind of light they prefer (plants that like the sun should be out in the open, plants that need shade should go in a spot where they'll have some cover). Full sun is six hours or more of direct sun per day, not necessarily continuously. Part shade typically means four to six hours of sun per day. Shade definitions vary, depending on how deep the shade really is. Dappled shade gives a lot more light than deep shade, for example.

Step 2: Dig the Soil

Beautiful flower gardens start with good soil. In general, most flowering plants do best in soil that's loose and well-drained with a lot of organic material in it. You don't need to dig a large area to plant flowers, but you should dig enough soil that you can add some compost in to improve the soil structure. Work the soil to a depth of at least 6 inches. Avoid digging or handling soil when it's wet to prevent compaction. Plants need a certain amount of space between soil particles for roots to grow.

Step 3: Plant Your New Flowers

The steps for how to plant flower seeds are a little different than plants from the nursery, so follow the directions on the seed packet to know how deep to plant each seed and how far apart. With potted garden plants, you should usually plant with the soil at the same level as the soil in the pot, but read the plant tag to be sure. Some flowering plants, like irises and peonies, prefer their rhizomes and roots to be planted very shallow. When removing the plant from the pot, gently tease some or all of the soil from the roots and place the plant into the hole you've prepared. Push the soil back into the hole, firming it gently so you put the soil back but don't compact it entirely.

Step 4: Water Deeply and Add Mulch

Thoroughly soak the soil around your newly planted flowers. Garden flowers generally need 1 to 2 inches of moisture every week to perform well, so water if you don't receive enough rain. It's best to water deeply and less frequently than shallowly and more often so the roots of the plants grow deeper. Avoid keeping soil waterlogged or the roots of your flowering plants may rot. A layer of mulch like shredded bark around your new plants will help slow down evaporation and reduce how often you need to water.

Step 5: Deadhead and Groom Your Flowers

As your flowering plants begin blooming, feel free to cut them for bouquetsClip off the spent flower heads to encourage the plant to put more energy into its foliage and winter survival. Some flowers, including zinniasdahlias, and others, bloom again when you remove the blooms. Clip or pull any brown foliage for a cleaner look. Daylilies in particular benefit from the removal of old leaves.

thats an example, now i will share my video

THANKYOU!
